Father's Day Cards

Here are the cards my daughter and I made yesterday for Father's Day.  It was so much fun.  We used the pine trees from the Paperdolls cricut cart.  The stamps are from the Judith stamp collection, and the paper, ink and ribbon are from stampin up.  My daughter used prima flowers and thought it would be nice to add a special touch by writing on the card instead of stamping the message.  I copied her idea, even adding the dots to the letters.  I love her card it is soo cute and she worked very hard on it.  I love it when we can do these things together.
I don't have but a few days with her until she will be going to her grandparents in Seward for a couple of weeks, and then off to basketball camp. :(  She is getting so big.  I'm am excited for her, but having a hard time with the thought of her gone for so long.  They grow up so fast.  I just have to remember to cherish all these little moments.

  1. Cute cards! I love the paw prints and the hand writing definitely adds a more personal touch. GREAT job!

As much as you will miss her while she is away, just think of the fond memories she will be making with her grandparents. :)

  2. Thank you so much. I really like how she added the paw prints too. She gave her card to her dad this morning because she left today.

So true, it does make it easier to think of it that way. She has already called me from there to tell me how excited she is to be there. That makes me happy.:)
